STORRS, Conn. — Former Texas A&M guard Hassan Diarra introduced Wednesday that he’s transferring to the UConn males’s basketball group.
Diarra made the choice public on Twitter and later confirmed it in an interview with Hearst Connecticut Media.
Diarra, a 6-foot-2 rising junior performed 18 video games for the Aggies final season, averaging 6.2 factors and 1.4 assists.
Diarra’s older brother, Mamadou, performed for UConn, earlier than accidents compelled him to surrender basketball. He was a pupil assistant and later graduate assistant coach for the previous three years, receiving a grasp’s diploma from the varsity final weekend. It is not clear if he’ll return to this system.
